Amanda Waechter is well known for her exceptional understanding of the technical areas of the law. After finishing first in her law school class upon graduation at Valparaiso University School of Law she clerked for a federal judge in the Northern District of Illinois. Since being admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2004 she has moved beyond the academic and proved her abilities in the courtroom.

After working for three years in the DuPage County Public Defender's office her experience and knowledge have garnered her reputation as an outstanding litigator in private practice. She has tried many cases before judges and juries from minor misdemeanors to high-class felonies. She currently focuses her practice on doing excellent work in courts of State courts, appellate courts and before administrative tribunals for both juvenile and adult felony cases.

Amanda's entire career has been spent representing people charged with crimes, traffic violations and facing government administrative sanctions.
